Gillian graduated as a Veterinary Nurse in 2001 and was employed as a Surgical nurse at Glasgow University Veterinary School. Following three years in this post she was employed at the Royal Veterinary College as a surgery and hydrotherapy nurse. During this time she developed an interest in Neurological nursing and Physiotherapy and has since pursued a career involving participation in externships in the USA and canine rehabilitation centres. Following three years at the RVC she was appointed Specialist Neurology Nurse at GUVS from 2007 – 2011 which led to completion of both her Advanced Clinical Vet Nursing Diploma and RCVS Advanced Nursing Diploma and her Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy. Gillian is currently working towards her University of Tennessee Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner Certificate and is currently the Head Nurse at Dublin University Veterinary Hospital.
